Reflector Software Agent

One component of the system is the Hosted SW Reflector product for integration in 3rd party products.

The Prosilient hosted SW reflector product is an industry standard implementation for 3rd party integration.

The hosted SW reflector supports the following measurement methods:

• ITU-T Y.1731 VSP Extended Two-Way Frame Delay Measurement
• ITU-T Y.1731 Two-Way Frame Delay Measurement
• IEEE 802.1ag / ITU-T Y.1731 Ethernet Loopback
• RFC 5357 TWAMP Light. Two-Way Active Measurement Protocol
• RFC 862 UDP Echo
• Prosilient 2xOneWay including PTScan
• The Reflector Software Product provides separation of up- and downlink performance monitoring, increasing the granularity of the service monitoring for the user.

This will in the end give the Operator/Vendor a better control of capacity need, perceived QoS from the enduser perspective that will decrease churn and thus provide the operator with higher ROI on the IP Backhaul Network.
