Ethernet OAM Services

Prosilient's PTAnalyzer provides support for Operations, Administration and Maintenance (OAM) functions for Ethernet based networks as defined in ITU-T Y.1731 and IEEE 802.1ag. These functions, such as Ethernet Loopback (ETH-LB) and Frame Delay Measurementfault management and performance monitoring.

The figure below shows an example of Ethernet OAM measurements between a probe and two ITU-T Y.1731 (or IEEE 802.1ag) enabled network elements:
