Supervision Domain Controller

The SDC is the key component in the SD and controls all measurement and supervision activities. The SDC implements the functionality to manage the probes belonging to the SD, all the configured measurement/supervision sessions as well as SLAs. Further, the SDC implements the second stage measurement analysis (including alarm filtering) and reporting. The SDC also provides an interface to 3rd party vendor systems, e.g. OSS/NMS systems and SNMP Trap Sinks.

Note: The SDC is not part of the stand-alone measurement system.
