PT Analyzer Client Overview

The PTAnalyzer Client is a GUI application and is used for case configuration, viewing results, viewing alarms and generate reports. The PTAnalyzer client is a Java application and runs on most common operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc).

The figure below shows the PTAnalyzer case view. The left hand of the GUI shows a case in a tree view representation. The tree view holds a set of probes, a channel-plan, all services (sessions) and SLAs.

The right hand of the GUI shows the session table. The session table shows general information, progress data (e.g. packet counters and statistics) and status for all running sessions.

The figure below shows the plot-viewer for a 1xOneWay session when the one-way propagation delay view is selected. The plot-viewer can be used to plot old result data files (stored on disk) or be used to plot the result data in real-time.
